This page was created to give a little back story to those who haven't had the chance to read back to some of my first posts. As the author, I have a profile page for myself, so I figured it only appropriate to make one for the blog, as well.

The Who:

For those of you who don't know, no Sally is not my real name. My main character's name in an MMO that I used to play was Salain (Suh-lane). You would not believe how many people said this name wrong, so friends ended up shortening it down to the easier-to-pronounce Sally. Over time, I've really become accustom to the nick name while on the internet in general and its just more comfortable for me to use.
The When:
Mypeoplerants.blogspot.comt was born on January 5th of 2010. Its the first and only blog that I've made and I'm quite proud of it so far.
The Where:
If you haven't read it anywhere else, my honey and I are living and working in the southeast of the big-ol' state of Texas.
The Why:
Working as a cashier and a customer service representative in a large superstore has inevitably filled me with quite a bit of anger and/or hatred toward some of the customers that I end up having to deal with. Eventually, to blow off steam, I started typing up some of my more notable experiences and sending them to friends via text message on my cell phone. Because a couple, specific friends (you know who you are) got such a kick out of my retail tales, they encouraged me to dedicate an entire blog to them. I'd saved most of those messages on my phone, so it really wasn't difficult to get started.
Since then, this blog has been sort of an anger management outlet for me. I honestly wish I'd started doing this years ago at some of my previous jobs. A change of scenery would really be nice at this point, but even if I find a new position or a new job, I guarantee I will always have people to rant about.
